Leaf Marque

What is it and who can be certified

LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) is a protocol for agricultural producers of fruits and vegetables for fresh consumption, and handling warehouses that originated in 1991 in England with the purpose of promoting environmentally responsible agriculture.

It is a non-profit organization leader in the promotion of sustainable agriculture, which produces quality food respecting good agricultural practices and respecting the rights of workers.

To ensure sustainable agriculture and environmental protection, it is based on the principles of Integrated Farm Management.

In this case and unlike GLOBALG.A.P., The Leaf Marque logo does reach the final consumer on the product label.

Who is it for? Who can be certified?

  • Individual producers of fresh fruits and vegetables
